Custom made
Don't see what you're looking for? We'll make it for you.
If something isn't in the configurator, isn't in the shop, or doesn't quite fit what you have in mind — get in touch. There's a good chance we can make it work.
The shop and the designer cover the most common requests, but plenty of ideas don't fit neatly into either. A different size, a non-standard shape, an unusual region, an effect we haven't built into the configurator yet — all of that is fair game. Tell us what you're thinking and we'll see what we can do.
Every relief is already printed to order in our own Swiss workshop, so a custom one isn't really a different process — just a different starting point. We'll quote it, share a preview, and only print once you're happy with it.
Things people ask us for
A non-exhaustive list — if your idea isn't here, ask anyway.
A size that isn't offered
Larger formats for a wall feature, smaller pocket-sized pieces, or specific dimensions to fit an existing frame or shelf.
A region the designer can't cover
Very small islands, polar areas, deep ocean features, or any place where the public elevation data needs extra processing on our side.
A non-standard shape
Country outlines, lake outlines, an irregular crop along a coastline, or a frame shape we don't offer yet.
A specific gift idea
A relief tied to a date, a name, or a story — for an anniversary, a retirement, or a milestone where the standard catalog doesn't quite hit.
Engravings, names, or text
A name, date, route number, summit elevation, or a short message embossed or recessed into the relief.
Custom colors or palette
A palette to match a brand, a room, or a series — beyond the default terrain, water, and route colors.
What helps when you reach out
None of this is required, but anything you can share gets us to a quote faster.
- A short description of what you're picturing — a sentence is enough to start.
- The place(s) it should cover — a name, a coordinate, a GPX file, or a screenshot of the area.
- A rough size or any constraints (frame, shelf, wall space).
- When you need it. Standard lead time is 2–3 weeks; rush is sometimes possible.
- Reference images, sketches, or links to existing reliefs you'd like yours to feel similar to.
How a custom order works
Same workshop, same printers — just a couple of extra steps before we start the print.
1 · You describe the idea
Send us a quick email or call. Even a rough sketch or one-line description is enough to get going.
2 · We send a quote and a preview
Within a few business days you get a price, a lead time, and a 3D preview render so you can see what you're ordering.
3 · You confirm and we print
Once the preview looks right and the quote is accepted, we print, finish, and ship from our Swiss workshop. Most custom orders ship in 2–4 weeks.
