Cookie Policy
What we store in your browser, why, and how you can change it.

Summary
We do not use marketing, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. We use a small set of strictly-necessary entries to make the site work, plus an optional error-telemetry handler that runs only after you accept the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the "Manage cookies" link in the footer.
Strictly necessary
These entries are required for core features. They are not optional and no consent is required for them under the Swiss revFADP or EU ePrivacy rules.
• swissrelief.cart.v3 (local storage) — your cart contents, so they survive a page reload. • swissrelief.designer.v3 (local storage) — your in-progress configurator state. • swissrelief.locale (local storage) — your preferred language. • swissrelief.consent.v1 (local storage) — your cookie-consent choice. • firebase:authUser:* (IndexedDB) — Firebase Auth session, set only when you sign in.
Optional: error telemetry
When you click "Accept" in the cookie banner, we install a handler that forwards uncaught client-side errors (message + short stack-trace excerpt) to Firebase Analytics as "exception" events. This is purely for stability monitoring; no marketing profile is built. Firebase Analytics may set the _ga cookie. When you click "Decline" or "Manage cookies → Decline", the handler is not installed and no events are sent.
Changing your choice
Open the "Manage cookies" link in the page footer. Your current choice is shown and you can switch it; the change takes effect immediately. You can also clear all entries by clearing the site data in your browser settings — the banner will then re-appear on your next visit.
Third-party services that may set cookies
Stripe sets its own cookies on its hosted checkout page (a separate origin) to prevent payment fraud — this only happens once you reach Stripe Checkout. Map providers (OpenStreetMap tiles, Mapzen/AWS elevation, GLC_FCS30D) do not set cookies but see your IP address when the configurator loads tiles.
