Terms and Conditions
These terms govern all sales made through swissrelief.ch to consumers.
Last updated: 2026-04-30
1. Scope
These terms apply to all contracts concluded between Nathaniel Walser ("we", "us") and a consumer ("you") via the swissrelief.ch online shop. We sell to consumers only — orders from businesses (for resale or commercial use) are not accepted.
2. Conclusion of contract
Product listings and the configurator on swissrelief.ch are an invitation to you to place an order. You place an order by completing the checkout. The contract is concluded when we confirm the order by email. We may reject orders without giving reasons (in which case any payment already made is refunded in full).
3. Custom-made goods
All reliefs are produced individually after the order is placed, based on the parameters you select in the configurator (location, shape, scale, colour bands, overlays, route, markers, borders, frame). Each item is therefore a custom-made good produced to your specification.
4. Prices and currency
All prices are listed in Swiss francs (CHF). The operator is below the Swiss VAT registration threshold; prices therefore do not include VAT. Customs duties and import taxes for deliveries outside Switzerland are not included and are payable by you on import.
5. Shipping
We ship within Switzerland, the European Union, and worldwide. Shipping costs are a flat rate per destination region and are shown at checkout. Estimated lead time is up to 2 weeks within Switzerland and up to 3 weeks worldwide, in each case from order confirmation to dispatch. Risk of loss passes to you upon handover to the carrier.
6. Payment
Payment is handled by Stripe at checkout. Available methods depend on your country and are shown by Stripe during the checkout flow. The full purchase price including shipping is due at order placement.
7. Right of withdrawal
Because every relief is custom-made to your specification (see section 3), the statutory right of withdrawal under Art. 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive does not apply. See the separate Right of Withdrawal page for details. Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
8. Warranty
You have the statutory warranty rights for defects. If a delivered relief shows a manufacturing defect or transport damage, contact us within a reasonable time after discovery and we will arrange a free replacement or refund.
9. Reservation of title
Goods remain our property until full payment of the purchase price.
10. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Swiss substantive law applies, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). For consumers resident in the EU, the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of their country of residence remain unaffected. Place of jurisdiction is the operator's registered seat, to the extent legally permissible.
