Right of Withdrawal
Information for consumers in the European Union.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
In principle, EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. However, under Art. 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU and the implementing national rules (in Germany: § 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 1 BGB), this right does not apply to "the supply of goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised."
Why this applies to swissrelief.ch orders
Every relief is produced individually after you place your order, based on the parameters you choose in the configurator: geographic location, footprint shape, scale, elevation bands, map overlays, route, markers, borders, and frame. The result is a one-off, customer-specified item that we cannot reasonably resell to another customer.
For this reason, the right of withdrawal does not apply to orders placed via the configurator.
What this does not change
Your statutory warranty rights for defective goods remain fully in place — see the Returns page and section 8 of the Terms and Conditions. If a relief arrives damaged or defective, please contact us at swissrelief@nathaniel-walser.com and we will arrange a free replacement or refund.
Note for Swiss customers
Swiss law does not provide a general statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases. Returns of non-defective custom orders are therefore not possible. Warranty rights for defects apply as described above.
